Worcestershire under 15s through to national quarter-finals
WORCESTERSHIRE are through to the quarter-finals of the ECB Under 15 County Cup.
They sealed a home clash with Nottinghamshire at Chester Road, Kidderminster, on Wednesday after topping Group 2A in impressive style.
Victory over Warwickshire in their final group game was Worcestershire’s sixth win in eight matches with teams playing each other on a home and away basis.
The County finished seven points clear of runners-up Wales who also got through to the last eight and visit Group 1A winners Yorkshire.
Quarter-final opponents Nottinghamshire finished runners-up in Group 1A.
The winners will progress to the A Division semi-finals and final at Kibworth, Leicestershire, on August 23 and 24.
