Magistrates threaten to quit if Dudley court loses crime cases
Oh poor magistrates get no extra money for travelling further. I commute from cradley to Wolverhampton daily, nearly 20 miles a day 6 times a week and pay for my petrol. Surely they can manage when they earn at least 5 times my annual wage. No doubt it will go ahead but magistrates will somehow be able to claim expenses.

Calls for shamed laptop porn councillor to resign
I dont see what the issue is (or why it made the news really)
Yes he shouldn't be using work property to access things like this however it wasn't to access illegal material or have any impact on anyone else.
To those who think its wrong and that he should resign do you also think their home internet should also be monitored as you obviously think anyone who looks at **** affects their job.
What he should be judged on is the work he does for the community and it sounds like he does a great job, why should something so silly, which millions of other people do everyday, affect anything
The only thing that should happen is a disciplinary and a lesson learnt. Im sure this has already been punishment enough with the embarrassment to himself and his family.
