POLICE and the council have been working together to look at making improvements on Lutley Lane after being contacted by residents.

Halesowen Police took to social media to say neighbourhood officers have been working with Dudley Council and local residents to look at issues on the lane.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) they said: “Halesowen NHT are working in conjunction with the local council and residents in relation to traffic enforcement and other concerns along Lutley Lane.”

Meanwhile, council chiefs have confirmed residents have asked them to look at making highway improvements.

Nicholas McGurk, director of highways and environment at Dudley Council, said: “Three residents have asked Dudley Council to look at highway improvements on Lutley Lane.

“We have confirmed that we will undertake a provisional assessment of the route work, as we work to prepare the highways capital programme for the new financial year.”
