NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Plumley Moor Road, Plumley
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, lay cables for connection works. Prohibition of traffic - Plumley Moor Road. Plumley - From the junction with Back Lane to outside Bracklyn.
The alternative route will be via Plumley Moor Road, Chester Road, Northwich Road, Manchester Road Roundabout King Edward Road, Toft Road, Middlewich Road, Smithy Green and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route. The closures will be in place 24 hours a day.
This order will come into operation on Monday 27 July 2020 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 07 August 2020.
