WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath BN-507, Bournheath)(Temporary Closure Order) 2018
Order made: to close Footpath BN-507, Bournheath for its entire length.
The Order is being made to facilitate sewer connection works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the
highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary
works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Footpaths BN-505 and BN-504, Bournheath, U21200 Claypit
Lane and U21201 Fairfield Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months
or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed,
whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only
be operative for 15 weeks commencing on 2 April 2018.
(Pound Lane, Frankley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of Pound Lane, Frankley from its junction with Yew
Tree Lane for a distance of 134 metres in a north westerly direction in order to
facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Pound Lane, C2029 Frankley Hill Lane, Yew Tree Lane and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing:
2 April 2018.
(Kidderminster Road, Droitwich Spa)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of Kidderminster Road, Droitwich Spa from its
junction with Vines Lane to its junction with C2255 Salwarpe Road and Kidderminster
Road Roundabout in order to facilitate railway bridge examination works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Kidderminster Road, Union Lane, C2254 Ombersley Way, C2254
Ombersley Way/Ledwych Road Roundabout, C2255 Salwarpe Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing:
20 April 2018.
Council (District of Wychavon – Droitwich) (Permitted Parking Area and
Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places)
Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2018 [Limited Waiting on
Blackfriars Avenue, Droitwich]
On 15 March 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect
of which will be to limit waiting 2 hours no return within 1 hour Monday - Friday
8.00am - 6.00pm on the following length and side of road in Droitwich:-
Blackfriars Avenue (east side) from its junction with Spa Road for a distance
of 32 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 29 March 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order
may be inspected at Droitwich Library, Victoria Square, Droitwich, Worcs., WR9 8DQ
and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them
may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date
on which the Order was made.

Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places)
Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2018 [Prohibition of Waiting
on College Green and Worcester Road, Droitwich]
On 15 March 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect
of which will prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides
of roads in Droitwich:
College Green (both sides) from its junction with Worcester Road for a distance
of 35 metres in a westerly direction. Worcester Road (both sides) from its junction
with College Green for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction and
10 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 5 April 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order
may be inspected at The Library, Victoria Square, Droitwich, WR9 8DQ and County
Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.

On 15 March 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of
which will limit waiting Monday - Saturday 8.00am - 6.00pm 3 hours no return
within 2 hours on the following side and length of road in Droitwich:-
Ombersley Street West (south side) from a point 19 metres east of its junction
with Burrish Street for the remainder of its length a distance of 37 metres in an
easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 5 April 2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order
