ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE A46 TRUNK ROAD (EVESHAM BYPASS) (40 MILES PER HOUR AND 50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2018
Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 9346363) hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under sections 82(2), 83(1), 84(1)(a) and (2) of, and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A46 Trunk Road near Evesham in the County of Worcestershire. The effect of the Order which comes into force on 18 June 2018 will be to -
(1) impose a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the eastbound and westbound carriageways of the A46 between points 180 metres east and 170 metres west of the roundabout junction with Millennium Way and The Link; including that roundabout; and

(2) impose a 50 miles per hour speed limit on the eastbound and westbound carriageways of the A46 between points 170 metres and 990 metres west of its roundabout junction with Millennium Way and The Link.

A copy of the Order, together with a plan and a statement of the reasons for making the Order, may be inspected during opening hours at Wychavon District Council, Evesham Community Contact Centre, Abbey Road, Evesham, WR11 4SB, Worcestershire County Council, County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester.
