THE (almost) true story of England’s greatest hero is coming to the Black Country thanks to A Comedy Theatre Group’s upcoming Robin Hood pantomime.
Robin Hood and his Merry Maids is the latest family friendly production by the theatre company, with the fun taking place at Gig Mill Methodist Church Hall this December.
Company director Phill Liptrot said the audience will have “heroes to cheers, villains to boo, corny jokes and questionable singing – everything you would expect from a family panto”.
Written and directed by a Stourbridge playwright and performed by local actors, the show will be at the Witton Street venue at 7pm on Friday, December 15, and at 2pm and 7pm on Saturday, December 16.
Tickets, costing £3, can be bought by calling 07954 692593 or 01384 824766, or by emailing acomedytheatregroup@hotmail.co.uk.
They are also available from Fair and Square, in Market Street, Stourbridge. Tickets can be collected in person, or paid for using cheque/paypal, as well as posted out or held on the door for collection.
