A STOURBRIDGE folk musician has organised a musical evening near Kidderminster this weekend to awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

Brian Clee, aged 80, is inviting all the musicians he has played with over the years to attend the event at The Eagle and Spur, Cookley, on Saturday December 16 at 7.30pm.

Entry is free and a light buffet will be provided; there will also be a raffle on the night.

Brian, who is battling bone cancer after first being diagnosed with prostate cancer 18 months ago, said: “Obviously I would like a good attendance at the music night, with the opportunity meet old friends, but the most important thing is to encourage men to become more aware of the possibility of prostate cancer and how finding out early will prevent the possibility of it spreading to other areas.”
