TV comics Imran Yusuf and Danny Posthill will appear on a double headline bill guaranteed to tickle anyone’s funny bone in Stourbridge on Friday.

Yusuf has appeared on the likes of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and is a regular headliner with all the country’s top comedy clubs, including The Comedy Store and The Glee Club.

While impressionist Posthill was a finalist in Britain’s Got Talent in 2015 and has gone on to forge a reputation as one of the funniest acts on the circuit, with impressions ranging from David Beckham to Donald Trump.

The pair will be at Fitz of Laughter Comedy Club, held in the marquee at Katie Fitzgerald’s in Wollaston, on Friday (April 6) with doors opening at 8pm before the show starts at about 8.30pm.

Support will be provided by Sy Thomas, with the night hosted – as ever – by resident MC, Dudley’s Wayne Beese.

Wayne said: “We’re really excited about this show. I gigged with Imran at the Glee in Oxford a couple of years ago and he absolutely took the roof off, he completely blew me away.

“He doesn’t gig much outside London and the surrounds so I’ve been trying to get him up here to the Midlands ever since. Now it’s happening we’re in for a treat.

“Similarly, I gigged with Danny very recently and he was also fantastic, excellent impressions and great jokes in between. He’s a headliner in his own right.

“So to have two such great acts on the same bill is a real coup, and we would urge people to snap up tickets for what will be an unmissable night of comedy.”

The comedy club has been running for nearly four years and has hosted a range of top stand-up names including Joe Lycett, Tom Stade, Hal Cruttenden and Gary Delaney.

Tickets cost £10 per show, plus fees if booked online at www.skiddle.com/e/13157609 – but you can text Wayne on 07759 543750 or email wpbeese@hotmail.com to reserve seats and pay a tenner on the door.
