Ariana Grande has had to call off her performance at the Rock in Rio music festival due to illness.
The American singer – who has just scored her first UK number one album with Dangerous Woman – told fans on social media that she can’t take the stage at the event in Lisbon, Portugal today as she has a throat and sinus infection.
Ariana’s illness comes after a busy few days during which she performed at the Billboard Music Awards, unveiled the video for her song Into You and sang on The Voice.
The 22-year-old also landed the top spot on the UK albums chart.
She only narrowly made it to the summit, racking up just 600 combined charts sales more than Drake’s album Views.
