HALESOWEN’S housing office will move to smaller premises in Halesowen library in the New Year.
Dudley Council is relocating the office to the library’s fifth floor from Wednesday January 9.
The library will also house a Citizens Advice bureau with the council billing it as a new one stop shop.
Councillor Khurshid Ahmed, cabinet member for housing, said: “The benefits of this move will bring a number of advantages to our customers.
“We have already relocated two area offices into local libraries and have found that this has been very well received by users.
“Customers have found it very useful to have a number of services under one roof.”
