Last week we read an article in your paper about Cllr Iris Boucher and Mary Docker scrapping in a public meeting - to use a Black Country expression - like alley cats.
I am not a fan of the Conservative policy, however I had the opportunity the other week to have an in-depth conversation with Mary Docker and found a very different Mary Docker and - like it or not - several of her opinions made a lot of sense.
Grudgingly I had to agree with some of what she said and found her to have a very human caring side to her nature. Iris Boucher also has this trait in her nature as well.
What a pity two such clever women cannot carry their differences of opinion out in a more private place than a public meeting. For some of us Christmas brings back the loss of our loved ones.
I would say to these two ladies, with our lads and lassies in our armed forces fighting for freedom and peace, Grow Up and settle your differences in private not make a spectacle of yourselves for all to see.
You are two intelligent women both capable of having a one-to-one discussion - or do you need a referee?
I would like to wish you both a happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
