THE history and folklore of the Green Man is being explored at Halesowen History Society next week.
Dr Colin Harris, an expert on the Green Man and its roots in British history, is giving a talk at the society on Thursday, April 3.
Dr Harris said: As many theories as people have tried to fathom out his meaning and origins but he remains a mysterious enigma and conundrum waiting for an explanation."
The meeting starts at 7.30pm at the Shenstone Theatre, Halesowen Library, everyone is welcome, and there is a charge of £1 for non-members.
