St Giles' Church in Rowley will be commemorating the beginning of the Great War in both it's Sunday services this weekend.
On Sunday at 10:15am and 6:30pm and on Monday the church will be open between 12 noon and 4pm for people to come in say a prayer, light a candle or simply to reflect.
Special flowers are being arranged to mark the beginning of the war and those with family names recorded on the Restored War Memorial especially welcome.
