RESIDENTS are being given the chance to quiz Halesowen and Rowley Regis MP James Morris on issues that are important to them.
His Ask James event aims to cut through the spin and media management, which he said causes “cynicism and disillusionment in politics”.
He said: “Internet and social media campaigns get a lot of attention, but nothing can beat meeting people face-to-face, listening to their views and concerns, and giving them the straight answer they deserve.
“This is a return to old-style public meetings where anybody can come along and ask their MP about whatever national or local issues are on their mind without spin-doctors, advisers or party lines-to-take.
“I can’t promise that we will agree on every subject raised, but I can promise that I will do my best to answer questions fully and honestly so that people can make up their own minds.”
The session is being held at the Four Ways Baptist Church, Cradley Heath, on Friday November 7 at 7pm and is open to anyone living in the constituency.
