A POST box in Netherton was badly damaged after two vans crashed into each other this weekend.
The incident happened yesterday (Saturday) morning on the junction of Griffin Street and Marriott Road at 5.30am. None of the two drivers were badly injured in the incident.
Firefighters from Brierley Hill Fire Station took a photo of the scene and posted it on their Twitter account. Watch Commander Danny Hines, of Brierley Hill Fire Station, was relieved no-one was injured in the smash.
He said: “Luckily there was no-one walking past at the time. It could have been much worse if there was a postman there doing his job.”
