School site use
WITH regards to the future use of our former school site, St Michael’s.
Rather than another housing estate in an already crowded area, it would have been nice to demolish the school and create a park. Instead we will have even more traffic on the busy Throne Road and Newbury lane.
The queuing is already way past the entrance to the site for a large part of the day. The money generated will be soon spent but the opportunity to improve the area will be lost and gone forever. People fail to grasp that all government buildings, land and council houses belong to the people, we each have a stake.
