A 32-YEAR-OLD woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder concerning the man who was found with multiple stab wounds in Oldbury yesterday (Tuesday).
Police officers and paramedics flocked to McDonalds, Wolverhampton Road, Birchley Island, after the man was discovered bleeding heavily at 5.30pm.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "Police are continuing to investigate after a man was found with stab wounds at McDonalds in Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury.
"Officers attended the location and a man was found to have multiple stab wounds and it is believed he had driven himself to the fast food restaurant having already suffered the injuries elsewhere.
"He remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition."
The restaurant was closed and detectives scoured the area for clues.
The spokesman added: "A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is helping with enquiries.
"Investigations into the incident are on-going."
