ARTISTIC pupils at an Oldbury school took to the stage this week to help staff understand about health and safety.
Halesowen fire and security firm Tyco International, Mucklow Hill, asked pupils at Perryfields High School to produce a play highlighting the dangers of accidents.
Jayne Greening, from Tyco, said: "We asked Perryfields High School if they could come up with a play and it was wonderful and really informative.
"We run a system if a employee spots a near miss and avoids an accident we donate £5 to NSPCC and this production will help spread awareness of accidents."
Colm Cooney, a sales consultant at Tyco, added: "I was impressed with the quality of the production; the students had fully understood the brief and incorporated relevant content for the audience, the delivery was powerful, getting the important message across effectively.
"If was heartening to hear that the students knowledge, understanding and importance of Health & Safety had also been affected by working with us on this exercise, it was brilliant."
