CHARACTERS from children’s author Roald Dahl came to life at a Cradley Heath school.
Pupils at Temple Meadow Primary School celebrated Dahlicious Dress Day by transforming themselves into characters from his stories or wearing his favourite colour yellow.
Assistant headteacher Hannah Jones said: “English lessons revolved around his many stories for the day and we were part of the many schools across the globe who watched Puffin Virtually where TV’s Zoe Salmon was joined by the cast of the brand new schools’ event Roald Dahl and the Imagination Seekers.”
Children and staff made donations for dressing up and raised about £200 for Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
