HADEN Hill House and Park in Cradley Heath is holding a range of family activities to spook and delight.

Jane Hanney, museums manager, said: "We love autumn at Haden Hill House, the park looks fabulous and it’s a chance to decorate the house and enjoy a lot of fun and activities."

The fun starts on Sunday, October 23 with Pupkins Galore between 11am and 3pm when visitors can enjoy an afternoon of pumpkin fun, carve a pumpkin for Halloween, and follow our pumpkin trail, pumpkin recipes and play pumpkin games.

There will be timed sessions available for pumpkin carving, booking is essential.

Then younger visitors, aged between eight and 11, can get creative with The Secret Passage on Tuesday, October 25 between 2pm-3.30pm and join the Gothic inspired creative writing session working with Julie Calcott to write a spooky story.

On Wednesday, October 26 between 11am and 3pm the RSPB who will be getting crafty with wildlife crafts for young visitors.

There will be a Halloween crafts day on Thursday, October 27 between 11am and 3pm and on Friday, October 28 between 12pm and 4pm is the The Halloween House of horror family fun day.

Mrs Hanney said: "There will be spooky goings on at Haden Hell House and Hall, come and join in with Halloween fun for all the family, music, magic and balloons kid’s crafts quizzes, trails, games & more, why not come dressed up and enter into the spirit of the spooky season.

"The House is also open on Sundays throughout the autumn between 11am and 3pm with themed activities on most Sundays from the gunpowder plot to the Battle of Hastings, poppy day and craft activities."

She added: "It should be a fantastic season of fun activities to keep everyone warm as the weather gets colder outside."
