A HALESOWEN vets has been recognised for its 'outstanding' customer service.
St George’s Vets in Stourbridge Road was recently inspected by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as part of its Practice Standards Scheme.
Inspectors, who also visited the firm's five other surgeries across the West Midlands and its 24 hour hospital in Wolverhampton, were impressed with the "enthusiastic staff", "motivated managers and leaders" across the group.
The "excellent" bereavement counselling on offer, the "well maintained" website and the "superb" information boards on display in waiting rooms, led to all of the practices being rated as 'outstanding' for client service.
Sarah Guy, branch manager, said: "We are very proud to have received this award. It is the perfect recognition for all the hard work put in by our team, especially as we are the first veterinary practice in the area to receive this status."
