AN elderly lady has been rushed to hospital after being run over in Cradley.
The incident happened in Colley Lane around 11.30am and the road was closed as the air ambulance landed to rush the woman to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We sent an ambulance area support office and the Midland Air Ambulance from Cosford.
"A merit trauma doctor was on board in the ambulance as she was transported to hospital."
He added: "She has a number of injuries and the air crew were travelling with the land ambulance.
"She arrived at the QE just after 12."
The incident has caused bus services to be diverted and delayed including the National Express West Midlands 243 route being diverted and 002 Diamond route is delayed.
