HALESOWEN Golf Club raised a whopping £6,084 for its chosen charity in 2016
Captains Ralph Dicker and Audrey Parry nominated Halas Homes as their charity for the year.
Throughout the year various golf and social events were held in support of the charity and through generosity of members and businesses £6,084 was raised.
A thank you evening was held where staff and residents from Halas presented music, dance, poetry and comedy sketches to golf club members who thoroughly enjoyed the performances.
On receipt of the cheque, Alison Sayer, CEO of Halas Homes said: "Once again it is a great pleasure to receive such a very generous donation from Halesowen Golf Club.
"We have a special relationship with the club who were one of the original donors to Halas Homes when they were established nearly 50 years ago and this relationship continues with annual music evenings presented by Halas and weekly golf lessons for residents.
"The money received would be very wisely spent to support the activities at Halas Homes. "
