THE final line-up has been announced for the Halesowen News backed A Fusion of Music and Dance 2017 concert.

The entertainment extravaganza at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Sunday, May 7, will now have Let It Shine star Kyle Passmore and young opera starlet Faith Tucker on the bill.

The pair are the final pieces of the jigsaw for the founder and organiser of A Fusion of Music and Dance 2017 Halesowen businesswoman Leigh Perry, who runs Dorridge School of Music.

She said: “I am over the moon to have got Kyle and Faith on the bill.

“They will join Richard and Adam and Beau Dermott from Britain’s Got Talent and the X-Factor’s Tom Bleasby on the night at the Symphony Hall.

“We of course will have our patron, Birmingham rock legend Bev Bevan, who has just been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Town Hall Gospel Choir, local singer Jake Maddocks as well as students from DMS.”

She added: “The concert will be our biggest yet and it has been great ensuring there will be so much talent under one roof.”

The concert will also raise funds for two charities – Birmingham Dogs Home and the MS Society.

In previous years, the event has banked up to £1,500 for charities including The Acorns Trust, RSPCA Birmingham and Marie Curie.

It also runs an awareness campaign for Delete Blood Cancer, urging members of the public to become donors, in memory of tragic DMS pupil Riya Dandekar, who died from the disease at the age of just 21.
