HOW the borough’s zoo conserves its animals will be the subject of a talk in Halesowen this month.
The Friends of the Leasowes will host their autumn meeting on Wednesday, October 25, where Chris Leeson, conservation officer at Dudley Zoo, will be speaking about his work.
Mr Leeson’s role includes working with both exotic and native species, from raising awareness of the world’s most endangered animals to helping the wildlife we find in our gardens.
Starting at 7.30pm, the meeting – which is free to attend by all – will take place at the Shenstone Club, in Kent Road.
Car parking at the club is available, while tea and coffee will be provided and there is also a licensed bar.
