AN Oldbury man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after shots were fired from a car in Birmingham will face no further action.
Police received a 999 call just before 5.30pm on Monday, October 9, reporting a firearm being discharged from a vehicle in Arthur Street, near the junction with Bolton Road, in Small Heath.
No-one was hurt and the area was cordoned off for a fingertip search of the scene.
A spokesman from West Midlands Police said: “The 27-year-old was arrested following allegations that shots were fired from a car in Arthur Street, Birmingham, on October 9.
“The man was released on bail pending further enquiries and has now been eliminated from police enquiries.
“Enquiries into the incident continue.”
