BLACK Country pub-goers can enjoy a selection of cheap drinks this month thanks to Wetherspoon's January sale.

Guinness, Sharp's Doom Bar, Shipyard, Coors Light, Strongbow Dark Fruit, Magners, Coldwater Creek wine, Gordon's gin, Smirnoff vodka and Bacardi rum will all be available at a reduced price between January 2 and 17.

Those who prefer to steer clear of alcohol can also enjoy a cut-price Sanpellegrino, Old Jamaica Ginger Beer or a Lavazza coffee.

The Full Moon in High Street, Dudley, The Clifton in Bull Ring, Sedgley, The Chequers Inn, Stourbridge and The Waterfront Inn in Level Street, Brierley Hill will all be taking part in the sale.

Offers will also be available at The Moon Under Water in High Street, Cradley Heath, The Britannia in Halesowen Street, Rowley Regis and The William Shenstone in Queensway, Halesowen.

Nanette Ramsdale, manager of The Full Moon, said: "Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.

"The range of drinks on sale in the pub is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes."

The Moon Under Water manager, Gabrielle Tandy, added: "I believe that the January sale will prove popular with our customers.

"As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly."
