SHOWERS will begin to fade across north Worcestershire and the Black Country in the early part of this evening, but it will turn colder under clear skies.

A widespread frost is expected to form overnight, as temperatures drop to -4°C, although it will start to cloud over by dawn.

Saturday will be slightly warmer, with temperatures reaching 8°C.

Cloud and outbreaks of rain will spread in from the west of the region throughout the morning, and showers will persist for the rest of the day.

It may also feel windier tomorrow, particularly in the afternoon.

Sunday will be cold and breezy, with plenty of sunshine and showers expected on Monday.
