Children at a Halesowen nursery waved goodbye to a long-serving member of staff at a party to mark the end an era.
Nursery leader Julie Bywater left Holt Farm Nursery, Holt Road, after working there for 18 years.
Youngsters bid popular Julie goodbye at the school's closing party. Holt Farm Primary and nursery officially closed last year, but remained at the Holt Road site which became classed as an annexe of Olive Hill Primary.
From this September all pupils will move to Olive Hill.
Parent Helen Priddey said: "Julie stayed on especially to see through the nursery children until the site closed which was really good of her.
"In all my years I've never come across a nusery teacher who has been so inspiring and positive."
