RAVEN’S Rescue UK provides sanctuary to unwanted, abused and abandoned dogs and cats across the West Midlands.

Once rehabilitated, volunteers then focus on finding the animals a suitable new home.

But it isn’t always easy and the Dudley based animal charity still has dozens of four-legged friends ready and waiting to go to their forever home. Here is a selection of those most in need of a loving family:

Poppy

Halesowen News:

This five-year-old Staffie cross needs a quiet, adult-only home where she is the only pet.

Poppy had found her forever home earlier this year but when her new owner sadly died, she came back under the care of Raven's.

She's fully toilet trained, has great recall. and loves to play with toys and go for long walks.

Ruby

Halesowen News:

Ruby is an eight-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux, who is described as a nice steady girl. She gets on brilliantly with other dogs, but is not so good with cats. She's a fan of walks as long as she gets a cuddle and nap afterwards.

Eli

Halesowen News:

This tabby boy is four-years-old.

He had been a long-term stray and when his 'feeder' was no longer in a situation to tend to his needs, Raven's stepped in.

He is a fussy boy who loves to be stroked, although he's not much of a lap cat.

Eli gets on well with other cats and dogs, although he will assert his authority if he needs to.

As a cat who has been a stray for a few years, Eli needs to have access to the outside world as he is well adapted to life outside and the life of a house cat is not for him.

Kipper

Halesowen News:

When this two-year-old's owner's circumstances changed, the heart breaking decision was made to rehome him.

He is stunningly handsome and has settled well in his foster home with another cat and children.

Enzo and Bailey

Halesowen News:

Enzo (above), aged five, and his foster sister Bailey (below), aged seven, need to be rehomed together.

They both need a quiet home and love nothing better cuddles.

Halesowen News:

All of the animals have been health checked, vaccinated, treated for parasites, microchipped and neutered.

Anyone interested in re-homing one of the featured animals should call Sarah on 07922204531 or Becky on 07775966696.

Adoption fees apply and all potential owners will be home-checked.
