A HALESOWEN painter is giving adults the chance to learn art skills in a new course.

Corinne Locker is hosting five-weeks of evening ‘Come and Start Crafting’ sessions at Halesowen College, beginning on Wednesday, April 25.

Participants will be introduced to new craft skills such as jewellery, papercraft and sewing, and they will then use those skills to make objects such as pin cushions, brooches and pendants.

Corinne, who specialises in traditional canal art and runs craft clubs at local primary schools, said: “The world of crafts is a wonderful one which I would recommend to all.

“It’s enjoyable, gives a sense of pride and personal achievement, and brings people together.

“Come and join me in the world of crafts, and meet new people. Just two words of warning: extremely addictive.”

The course is suitable for any level and all materials will be provided. To pre-book a space email cmjlocker@aol.com or call 07908 223823
