LUCKY Pedmore neighbours woke up to good news after scooping the People’s Postcode Lottery’s daily prize when their address was drawn this morning (Thursday, September 13).
Seven players from Compton Road who entered the lottery with their lucky DY9 0TG postcode have won the £1,000 jackpot, while an eighth neighbour has doubled their prize to £2,000 thanks to playing with two tickets.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt offered her congratulations and said: “I love seeing neighbours win together so I couldn’t be more pleased for everyone in Stourbridge who has picked up a prize today.
“I’m sure they’ll have a grand time splashing out with their windfall. Make sure you’re playing and we could be visiting your postcode next.”
A minimum of 32 per cent of postcode lottery ticket sales goes directly to charities, with £340 million to date being donated to local causes.
