CELEBRITY MasterChef contestants will face their toughest challenge yet in tonight’s episode - cooking a feast for 90 staff and volunteers at Black Country Living Museum.

The competition is heating up as the eight celebs - including soap star John Partridge and Loose Women panellist Lisa Maxwell - race against the clock to create four mouth-watering dishes, plus a dessert.

The celebrities must choose from a selection of ingredients including Black Country favourite pork belly, as well as beef rump, mackerel, haddock and a range of fruit and vegetables.

At the end of this challenge more celebrities will be going home their dream of being Celebrity MasterChef champion 2018 will be over.

Andrew Lovett, director and chief executive at the museum, was one of the lucky members of staff to try the delicious dishes.

He said: “It was a delight to welcome this team of celebrity chefs to our museum.

“It was a real treat for our staff who really enjoyed sampling all of the food from the MasterChef kitchen.

“Hopefully visitors will recognise us when it airs– it’s always exciting to see the museum on the television, especially for a show as popular as MasterChef.”

Celebrity MasterChef will be shown on BBC One at 8pm.
