A TRAINEE solicitor is heading to the Czech Republic for training thanks to the Rotary Club of Dudley.
Jenny Tetlow, who is based at Higgs & Sons in Brierley Hill, has been sponsored by the Rotary to be part of a Vocational Study Exchange (VSE).
She will join a team of people spending two weeks in the Czech Republic and Slovakia which is funded by Rotary District 1210.
Jenny will be staying with Czech Rotary members and will not only gain an insight into the country's legal system but also enjoy a cultural experience visiting areas off the beaten path.
Graham Dean, Club member and chairman of the District VSE organising committee, said: "This is the fourth exchange programme we've run.
"Participants from previous exchanges say that the opportunity is a life changing and career enhancing experience."
Jenny hopes to qualify as a solicitor next year and is no stranger to foreign law having studied law and French at Birmingham University where she spent time at Montesquieu University in Bordeaux and obtained a certificate in French Law.
Next year's exchange will be held in Finland and is open to anyone aged over 18.
They must be in the development stage of their career and live or work in District 1210.
Anyone interested should email vse@d1210.org.
