COMEDY star Doreen continues to make audiences giggle with her own unique brand of humour.

The Black Country gal’s army of loyal fans packed out Wolverhampton Grand Theatre on Friday as she stopped off as part of her 2018 tour of the Midlands.

And as with previous endeavours, the latest one-woman show Doreen’s Big Top doesn’t disappoint.

Walsall actress Gill Jordan continues to sparkle as ‘lazy cow’ Doreen - who has become a firm favourite on the Black Country stage since she was first introduced to audiences in a YouTube spoof video back in 2012.

The comedy character, created by Quarry Bank born writer and filmmaker David Tristram, takes audience members on a laugh out loud circus-themed stage adventure which sees her poking fun at mostly politicians and the news media.

Polished, well-timed and meticulous in its detail - the show combines stand up comedy seamlessly with first class video segments featuring the brilliant Gill Jordan in her many guises and some splendid CGI effects.

Writer David Tristram proves he has irreverent humour down to a fine art - as Doreen takes a satirical look at the similarities between Brexit and the circus.

As well as delivering the jokes thick and fast in her own inimitable way - she also tries her hand at a spot of magic, showcases her incredible singing talents and rivals Have I Got News For You with her hilarious look at some newspaper funnies.

Doreen will be stopping off at Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Tuesday November 6 and Wednesday November 7 as part of the tour...which sadly could be her last for some time as she prepares to set sail with a new weekly podcast venture.
