A total of 26 burglaries and attempted burglaries have been reported to police across the wards in Bexley in the past week, according to officers' updates.

Below is a map and a timeline of reports made to police from across Bexley.

The ward of Erith was left out as it did not provide an update this week.

Oct 30-Nov 8 & Nov 7-8 – Roseacre Road, Welling: Two burglaries were reported on this street. The first saw the victim's front door forced open, enter the home before taking items. The second saw burglars smashing the rear door before conducting an untidy search resulting in items being taken.

Nov 6-11 – Merlin Road North, Welling: Suspects smashed patio doors before conducting an untidy search and taking items from the property.

Nov 8-9 – Glenmore Road, Welling: Occurred between the Thursday evening and early Friday morning.

Nov 8-15 – Byron Drive, Erith: Front door was forced open. Owner's car keys and car were stolen.

Nov 9 – Parkside Avenue, Barnehurst: Two neighbouring houses were burgled. Access was gained through an alleyway running along the back of each home. They forced entry into the first house using a crowbar-like tool but nothing was reported missing. The second house by smashing a glass panel in the rear door. Extensive damage was caused to the property as both a large sum of cash and jewellery was stolen.

Nov 9 – Days Lane, Sidcup: Entry was gained through a smashed rear window but nothing was taken.

Nov 9 – Rowley Avenue, Sidcup: Suspects forced the side garage wooden door to get into the back garden before smashing the kitchen window. Unknown what items were taken.

Nov 9 – Berwick Road, Welling: Home was burgled around 7.30pm.

Nov 9 – Herbert Road, Bexleyheath: Burglars got in through an open first floor window. Police unsure of what was taken at this time.

Nov 9 – Dolphin Close, Thamesmead: An attempted burglary. Victim heard a noise during the night but dismissed it as their washing machine. The next morning, two footprints were spotted on the front door.

Nov 10 – Bedens Road, Sidcup: Homeowner was sitting in the living room which disturbed burglars. Nothing was taken from the house.

Nov 10 – Welling Way, Welling: Occurred between 3pm and 10pm.

Nov 10-11 – North Glade, Bexley: Owner's garage door was forced open. Cycle and camping equipment taken along with hand tools.

Nov 11 – Exeter Road, Welling: Occurred between midnight and 10am.

Nov 11 – Cumberland Drive, Bexleyheath: Front bedroom window was smashed but no entry was gained into the property.

Nov 11 – Denton Road, Welling: Burglars broke in through the conservatory door which was smashed and an untidy search was conducted.

Nov 12 – The Marlowes, Bexleyheath: Entry was made through the front door. Owner's car keys and Apple Mac computer were taken from the dining table. The car was taken but then later recovered.

Nov 12 – Elm Road, Sidcup: Victim answered their intercom but an unknown person entered their block of flats before they could authorise entry. Victim then heard said unknown person pick their front door lock before the victim called out, forcing the unknown person to flee.

Nov 12 – Etfield Grove, Sidcup: Owner was in bed when they heard unusual noises. Three males were disturbed once they realised someone was home and fled the home with only a small amount of jewellery.

Nov 12 – Sydney Road, Thamesmead: Owner returned home to find their home locked from the inside. The burglars had gotten in through the back door before conducting an untidy search.

Nov 12-13 – Northdown Road, Welling: Burglary occurred between 4pm on Monday and 9.30am on Tuesday.

Nov 13 – Princes Close, Sidcup: Victim returned home and found that their rear kitchen window was tampered with. No entry was gained so nothing was taken.

Nov 14 – Axminster Crescent, Welling: Burglars entered the home, stole the victims' car keys and in turn the victims' car.

Nov 14 – Water View Close, Bexleyheath: Burglars got in through the kitchen window before taking vehicle keys and other items.
