PEOPLE in the West Midlands and Worcestershire are on yellow alert at stormy conditions batter the region.
The Met Office has placed a yellow warning across much of central England until 2pm today (Thursday November 29).
There is a chance of strong wind with gusts up to 65mph in exposed areas and heavy rain.
Forecasters are predicting disruption to road, rail and air travel and possible power cuts as the weather system moves north.
