A MAN had to be cut free from a car following a two-vehicle crash in Lye this morning Monday January 21.
An ambulance and senior paramedic were called by police to the junction between Pedmore Road and Stourbridge Road just after 4am following a crash.
Fire crews were called after one of the cars was reported to be leaking fluid.
Fire crews freed one male from a BMW by cutting the door of the car off.
The man suffered lower back pain and received first aid treatment on site before being taken to Russells Hall Hospital.
Police were also in attendance at the incident.
