MOTORISTS are warned they face delays over the coming days while work to fix a gas leak in Amblecote High Street takes place.
Cadent Gas is undertaking emergency works on the busy stretch of road - outside Vauxhall Motor Company, near to Stourbridge's War Memorial Football Ground.
Temporary two-way traffic lights have been put in place to help with traffic flow and to help keep workers safe while on site.
Dudley Council has requested the lights are operated manually between 7am and 8pm to help "ease the flow of traffic" but the authority's network manager Andrew Sumner said: "However - it is expected that there will be disruption in this area whilst these works are ongoing."
The works are expected to be completed by Monday January 28.
