A BUSY route out of Halesowen will be closed to traffic for several mornings and afternoons in February.
Long Lane - the main road from Shell Corner to Blackheath - will be closed for carriageway resurfacing work.
The 'off-peak' closures will occur on February 7-8 (Thursday and Friday) and February 11-13 (Monday to Wednesday) from 9.30am to 3.30pm each day.
During those times, Long Lane will be closed from the roundabout at the junction with Nimmings Road to the borough boundary.
The diversion route will be Nimmings Road, Station Road, Oldbury Road, Archer Way and vice-versa.
Access to frontages will be maintained where safe to do so.
The road is used by several buses including the 13A and 13B from Blackheath to Birmingham, the X8 from Birmingham to Wolverhampton via Quinton, Rowley Regis, Blackheath and Dudley, and the 14 from Dudley to Halesowen via Blackheath.
