A QUARRY Bank man pleaded guilty to stealing over £200 worth of coats from New Look.

Nathan Lavender, aged 26, of Brialy Court, Quarry Bank, pleaded guilty to stealing £249.95 worth of coats from New Look in Dudley. He received a Community Order and was ordered to pay costs and surcharges totalling £270.

The following cases were also heard at Dudley Magistrates' Court last week.

Sandra Jones, aged 31, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to stealing £87.30 worth of goods from Asda in Oldbury. She was ordered to pay fines, compensation and surcharges totalling £120.

James Gregory, aged 36, of Clarence Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine. He received a conditional discharge for 12 months and was ordered to pay £105 in surcharges and costs.

Dale Mansell, aged 37, of Priory Road, Dudley, pleaded guilty to stealing £15.96 worth of washing detergent from B&M Bargains and failing to provide a drugs sample. He received a Community Order and was ordered to pat a £50 fine and £85 victim surcharge.

Bridget Maughan, aged 48, of Welsh House Farm Road, Quinton, pleaded guilty to stealing clothes worth £50 from Poundland in Dudley and admitted breaching a conditional discharge order. She received a Community Order with a curfew and was ordered to pay costs and surcharges totalling £135.

Bradley Ostins, aged 39, of Forge Lane, Halesowen, pleaded guilty to causing £350.00 to a M888 SKT car that did not belong to him. He was ordered to pay £285 in fines, surcharges and costs.

Stephanie Arnold, aged 30, of Cromwell Street, Dudley, pleaded guilty to assaulting Kelly Moses by beating her. She was ordered to pay £150 in compensation, a victim surcharge of £30 and £150 in costs.

Laura Quinn, aged 34, of Churchfield Street, Dudley, pleaded guilty to stealing £378.05 of food and cosmetics from Marks and Spensers in Merry Hill. She received a custodial sentence of ten weeks due to breaching a previous suspended sentence and was ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Aaron Tubby, aged 33, of Albert Street, Pensnett, pleaded guilty to failing to produce a specimen for a breathalyser test. He received a Community Order and is required to undertake 80 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £220 in surcharges and costs.

Carl Burdett, aged 30, of Stanford Avenue, Rowley Regis, pleaded guilty to causing £150 of damage to a living room wall that did not belong to him and to assaulting Lindsey Butler. He was ordered to pay £345 in compensation, surcharges and costs and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work as part of a Community Order.
