A CARE home in Rowley Regis was targeted by thieves who burgled nine rooms.
Intruders broke into a nursing home on Mace Street just after 7am on Saturday morning (February 2).
Nine rooms were targeted, with police having to pursue one of the intruders on foot in a lengthy chase.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers have arrested two people following a break in at a nursing home in Mace Street, shortly after 7am on Saturday morning (2 February).
"A 27-year old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and a 26-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle. They both remain in police custody."
