A POPULAR ring-road side snack caravan described as part of the 'fabric' of Stourbridge has been destroyed by fire.
The Caravan Snack Bar, based just off St John's ring road, was hit by a fire on Saturday night (February 2).
Writing on Facebook, the caravan's owners said they were 'absolutely gutted' by the damage to their business.
The incident has provoked an outpouring of sadness on social media, where visitors shared their memories of the ring-road snack staple.
One user wrote: "Sad to hear this, it's not just a caravan and a business, it is part of Stourbridge past and present."
Another added: "That van has been there all my life, it is part of Stourbridge"
Another Facebook commenter added: "Stood there for so many years, part of the fabric of Stourbridge."
West Midlands Fire Service has been contacted for a response.
