A SENTENCING date has been set for an ex-Dudley police officer who admitted making indecent images of a child.
Paul Davies, a former Young Persons Officer at Dudley Police, pleaded guilty to making five indecent images of a child between March 12 and April 15 last year when he appeared before Walsall magistrates on January 17.
He reappeared at Walsall Magistrates' Court today (February 7), where a sentencing date was set for March 7 at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
The 57-year-old, of Thoresby Croft, Upper Gornal, was formerly a member of the Wren’s Nest and Milking Bank neighbourhood team and was named West Midlands’ Beat Officer of the Year in 2009.
