  • On Thursday, February 21, there will be two hour sessions of inclusive activezone at the Crystal, providing fun sports for children with learning or physical disabilities and their siblings/friends. Activities include trampolining, bouncy castle, dodgeball, volleyball, parachute games and multi-sports. Sessions run from 10am to 12 noon for ages 5 - 8 and from 1pm to 4pm for ages 8 - 16.   • The leisure pool will be open throughout the week including the popular water disco which runs from 3.30pm to 6pm on Friday, February 22. The soft play suite will be open every day for the under eights at £2.70 per child and a crèche facility will run Monday and Friday 9.30am to 12 noon and Tuesday 9.30am to 12.30pm.
  • On Wednesday, February 20, the centre will host ‘Big Bounce’ – a huge inflatable play event for children aged 2 - 13. Youngsters can race, slide, jump and bounce with bouncy castles, slides, diddi car track, obstacle courses, sports games, an under 5s zone, Total Wipeout sweeper game, nerf guns and much more. It costs £7 per child with adult entry £1. Booking online in advance is recommended by visiting @Big Bounce Events on Facebook.
  • Crystal is also offering a climbing course on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for ages nine to 15. No experience is required, equipment is provided and it costs £10 per session.

Dudley Leisure Centre

  • There will be two days of junior activezone on Tuesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 21. Suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years, the activities will run from 9am to 4pm and include multi skills, crafts, team games and swimming. It costs £20 per day per child and a parental consent form must be completed prior to participation.
  • The main pool and learner pool are open throughout the school holidays. Check with the centre or website for opening times.
  • Juniors under 16 can also receive 50 per cent off the full adult price, on a no booking in advance basis for badminton, squash, five-a-side football, netball and basketball. All participants taking part in the activity must be under the age of 16 to receive the discount. Equipment is provided. Activities are subject to availability.

Halesowen Leisure Centre

  • At Halesowen Leisure Centre there are fun float pool sessions which run on Tuesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 21 in the main pool and learner pool. Sessions run from 1.15pm to 3pm and cost £4.40 for adults and £2.90 for under 16s. There is no age restriction but under eights must be accompanied in the water.
  • Juniors can take advantage of the £7 for 7 days offer at Halesowen to receive unlimited access between 9am to 5pm. Activities include use of the swimming pools, fun float sessions, squash courts and table tennis.
  • The centre’s swimming pools will be open throughout the school holidays and people are asked to check opening times and session details before arrival.

• Explorer’s Trail – Explorers are invited to help our palaeontologist, Dr Nock, to find the missing Ice Age animals and learn some fascinating facts about them along the way! Stamp the booklet and show the completed trail to earn a special prize.

• Explorer’s Craft Club – Join us for hands-on arts and crafts in the Discovery Room with colouring sheets, fact-finding and clay modelling.

• Photo Competition – Take a ‘selfie’ with a mammoth once you have discovered them and post it to the WMSP Facebook page for a chance to win a Family Annual Pass.

Explorers Week activities are included in the standard admission charge of £24 for adults, £19 for children aged 3-15 and £22

  • Meet the engine that collided with a camel! Visitors are invited to join Thomas & Friends™ for a fun-filled adventure at Europe’s only Thomas Land, home to 25 rides and attractions suitable for children and adults of all ages.
