THE Rotary Club of Worcester is looking for a teenager to participate in an all-expenses paid, six-day long ‘leadership course’ in the Forest of Dean.

Bring held between July 23 and 26, the Dean Field Studies Centre-based course sees 40 participants take part in a series of outdoor practical exercises and theoretical discussions.

The Rotary Club is giving a young achiever, aged between 16 and 18-years-old, the chance to take part.

The centre includes accommodation for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award participants, with outdoor activities including a ropes course, canoeing, climbing, caving, abseiling and orienteering.

After completing the course participates receive the RYLA certificate, which can enhance a CV as it is recognized by colleges and universities. The course also counts towards achievement of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
