DUDLEY South MP Mike Wood has confirmed he will vote for a no deal Brexit in tonight’s vote.
Mr Wood, the only Dudley borough MP to campaign for Brexit, has also stated that if the ‘no deal’ vote fails he will not vote for an extension to Article 50 in a subsequent possible vote tomorrow (Thursday).
He said on Twitter after Tuesday's vote which Prime Minister Theresa May lost by 149 votes: “Now that the House of Commons has rejected the Withdrawal Agreement, which would have delivered Brexit on 29th March, I shall be voting for Britain to leave the EU without a deal. If that is rejected then I shall vote against extending Article 50.”
