A COMMUNITY choir will be wowing audiences with songs from the musicals this weekend.
Lapal Community Choir will take to the stage at St Peters Church on Saturday April 13 to sing popular songs from hit shows such as The Greatest Showman, in aid of Mary Stevens Hospice.
The event follows on from last year's sell out Abba singalong.
Canon Hazel Charlton said: "We all enjoy singing together, it lightens the soul and the smiles keep coming. We want to share that joy with you all.
"We are raising money for Mary Stevens Hospice as many of us know, or have known people who have spent their final days there. It is a charity that is close to our hearts and one that supports so many."
The concert is free to attend and starts at 3pm.
