Police are appealing to find a woman who could be able to help with a rape investigation.

In the early hours of Saturday March 30, a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted by two men as she walked along a footpath in Two Waters Road, Hemel Hempstead.

It was around 1am and police believe the rape happened in a field near the main road.

The victim continues to be supported by specialist officers.

The Watford Observer reported at the beginning of this month that two men had been charged in connection with the rape.

Now Hertfordshire Constabulary is appealing for a passer-by who was in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.

Police describe her as white, with shoulder length hair, wearing dark clothing including a top with a V-neck. She walked past the B&Q store sometime between midnight and 1am.

If you believe you are the woman police are looking for or if you have any information which may be able to help police with their investigation, contact Detective Constable Louise Cleary from the sexual Offences Investigation Team on louise.cleary@herts.pnn.police.uk
